DAY 1: MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES VALLEY

Our driver will pick you up from your Marrakech riad and take you to Dades Valley via the High Atlas Highlands and the southern side of the mountains. With its Tizi n'Tichka pass, the route to Ouarzazate is slightly larger and safer. This portion of the N9, completed in 1936 by the foreign legion, offers breathtaking vistas. The distance between Marrakech and Ait Benhaddou is approximately 180 kilometers; we should stop at TADART The Tizi n'Tichka pass lies almost exactly halfway between Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou. The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate, is one of the greatest complexes of traditional rammed-earth houses in Morocco, and hence a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location's popularity has traveled far, and during the busy season, coach after coach of tourists arrive, linger for a few photographs, and then depart. Ait Benhaddou grew due to its strategic location on the south side of the Atlas near the confluence of the Draa and Dades Valley Routes, where the kasbah towers give panoramic views of the surrounding area. Our day continues to Dades Valley, where we will spend the night with supper and breakfast. The Kasbah is a must-see for tourists due to its distinctive architecture and film industry significance.

DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI DUNES

The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, as it is billed, stretches between Dades and Merzouga through parched plains oasis and severe mountain terrain, where semi-nomadic Berber herd their sheep. Modernity has come; yet, Toursit buses and four-wheel vehicles transport their flocks to the expanding towns at the beginning of the magnificent Gorges. We will consume lunch at the Todra Gorges. In the evening, when the Rocks are colored by the bands of dazzling sunshine and black shadow, the road becomes narrower and more twisting. We reach the Merzouga Desert between 4 and 5 p.m., then ride camels to our desert camp for supper and overnight.

DAY 3 : SAHARA DESERT- RISSANI - DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

After breakfast, drive to Sijilmassa (Rissani), the former Berber capital of the Tafilalet area and an important trading center. It was created in 757 by the Arab chieftain Mousa Ben Nasser, and its placement on the key Sahel-to-Europe trade route, from Niger to Tangier, gave it great significance and profitability. Its popularity and scale expanded as a result of its gold trade. The ruins, of which little remains, are located between the town and the river. Moulay Ismail constructed a massive new Kasbah, but the Ait Atta tribe destroyed the town in 1818. Before acquiring the Moroccan Sultanate in the 17th century, the present Alaouite family established itself in the surrounding territory in the 13th century. Then Travel via Draa Valley The road from Ouarzazate to Zagora is beautiful, meandering first through the jbel Anaouar Mountains and then down the Draa Valley, a strip of intensive agriculture and a ribbon of vibrant color woven across the desert. There are red-earth colored kasbahs and communities with flat-roofed buildings with crenellation on their roofs. Once one of the longest rivers in North West Africa, the Draa Valley is now the Hollywood of Morocco, where you will stay with supper and breakfast.

DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE - TELOUET - MARRAKECH

After spending the morning at Ouarzazate, a city that is regularly utilized as a filming location (since "Lawrence of Arabia" was shot at Ait Benhaddou, the region, which is close to both mountains and desert, has been a favorite option among directors), go to Marrakech. TELOUET is the name. Telouet, located at a high height in the highlands, is regarded as a sanctuary for egales. It is home to one of the Atlas Mountains' most spectacular KASBAHs. Within living memory, we arrived in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
